A Weekend in Palm Springs with Michael Mundy

Mundy made it his mission to capture the particular glamour of Palm Springs, a town unique amongluxury destinations for its Hollywood history. Smith’s design for his own home combines elements of old Hollywood and California leisure. Palm Springs was once the go-to vacation spot for old Hollywood, and recently the town has cast its spell on a new generation. Enchanted by its vintage look and ethereal sunsets, the New York and Los Angeles elite have adopted it as a getaway to sit poolside, sip drinks, and forget the craziness of city living, if only for the weekend.
